Regardless of your current plethora of skills, learning something new will always benefit you. Think of a skill that can help you take your passion project to the next level or a skill that could qualify you for a promotion. In my opinion, it is better to focus on your passion project than a job promotion; however, it probably does not matter as long as you dedicate yourself to learning.

In my case, my passion project and career are aligned. My passion project is my LLC named Borrowed Books. One day, I foresee opening a brick and mortar bookstore. For now, my focus is providing a quality education to my high school students and developing a successful blog to help financially support my wonderful family and future bookstore. My blog is not completely designed yet; however, it is live and has lots of cool content. Please check it out here: www.borrowedbooks.org

When I started this article series, I had the same dream. I had already established an LLC, and I hoped that one day I would magically have the financial stability to support my family and a brick and mortar bookstore in a world that is mostly online.

Today, after writing 27 days of this series, I have made a lot of progress. On Day 1, I decided that I was going to do something great. I didn’t know if I could. My Day 1 article explains: Do I know if this path will work? No. I am asking my readers to join me on a promenade around the sun.

Now, I am on a path to success. I have earned a small amount of money on one editing project, am enrolled in a blogging course, and have created my own blog with some of these articles as well as children’s stories and essays about the intersection of education, health, and socioeconomic status.

My blog has not earned money yet; however the class I am taking is teaching me how to monetize both my blog and any associated You Tube content.

Please know that you can do anything I can do. I am an ordinary person. I am a mom and a teacher. I recently got a divorce and recovered from Lyme Disease. Being alive during this global pandemic has propelled me to take a closer look at my life, my priorities, and my goals.

Aside from wanting financial stability due to uncertain world economics, I desire financial stability for my family. On this path to financial success, the way that I am earning money is also important. As I earn money, I want to know that the things I am doing to earn money are also things that benefit people.

Thank you for reading this. Please stay tuned for Days 29 and 30!
